My Services

I’m looking to bring my 20 years of Film and Television experience to any project that I’m on. Having been a part of Emmy, Annie and Bafta award winning teams, I take on each new show with a high level of quality and excitement.

  • I’ve helped a multitude of projects from the ground up, jumping into problem solving is something I love doing. Whether it’s scope or quality, lets figure out some wins together.

  • Bringing my unique vision to both Film and Television, I would be able to help set up a pipeline for whatever the project may need, and run a smooth production for you and the team. Keeping both the creative property respected and production teams happy.

  • I was the Animation Director on the Emmy award winning Television show Last Kids on Earth, and I’d love to help bring you project to life. Whether it be a short, TV or Feature film, my passion has always been animation and what we can do together.

  • Getting my start at Walt Disney almost 20 years ago, I’d be able to bring a level of quality to any project that may desire my help. I’ve animated in Flash, ToomBoom, as well as traditional Hand drawn.

Who am I

With a background in hand-drawn animation with Walt Disney and a love of all things anime, Justin Lovell is continually blurring the lines between feature and television quality animation. From working on multiple Annie, Bafta, and Emmy award winning shows, Justin finds himself pushing the animation bar further and further in order to guide every project in the best possible direction. Not only can he craft exciting shots, but his ability to connect with people results in better morale, energy, and excitement in his teams. Alongside his professionalism and attention to detail, it seems nothing is too insurmountable or too trivial for him to tackle.

Justin wants nothing more than to shed the skin of old animation traditions, ideas, and flavours, while keeping the spirit of ambition alive. He seeks to embrace electrifying new stories to create cinematic experiences that audiences will love and crave. 

From Katsuhiro Otomo's Akira to Shunsuke Nakashige’s Solo levelling, Justin finds so much inspiration from both the classics to the new fan favorites. Consistently pushing cameras and performances for better engagement, and known for his dynamic long shots, Justin seems to always have a game plan to make the impossible possible.

When he’s not glued to the screen, you’ll find him milling around comic cons or getting inked with another nostalgic childhood cartoon that inspired his devotion and enthusiasm for this industry.
